FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS   (FAQs)

.

What are your qualifications for addressing our senior residents?

My complete credentials may be accessed by clicking HERE, or on the BIO tab in the top navigation bar.  However, relevant points include:

  •    I am myself a senior!   (I grew up watching classic movies, reading science fiction of the era, etc.)
  •    My Doctoral Degree in Pathogenic Virology is from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine.
  •    I began my professional career as a University Professor and Medical Research Scientist (specialty in human birth defects).
  •    During that time, I also trained medical faculty in lecture technique and the dynamics of small group teaching.
  •    Former CEO of an international nonprofit medical association that I founded dedicated to professional development.
  •    Provided invited professional consults and presentations to medical communities and medical associations around the world.
  •    I have provided uniquely crafted presentations to Independent and Assisted Living communities since April of 2016.
  •    I read several books each year and am constantly taking online courses in history, music, philosophy, science, literature, etc.

If we liked the complimentary presentation and wanted to book you for future dates, how would that work?

If you feel that the topics offered and the way in which they are presented would add value to your residents, then we will progress forward.  Basic paperwork (W-9 and other requirements your facility might have) will be completed and submitted.

From there, it’s just a matter of selecting presentation topics from the lists and integrating them into your ongoing calendar.  My days and times available are posted and can always be viewed by clicking on the SCHEDULE tab in the top navigation bar.

60 minute sessions are booked in advance by phone or email at flexible times during Mornings, Afternoons, and Evenings (hover cursor over sessions on the calendar for specific time frames).

Established clients book at repetitive dates (generally twice a month) for the entire year in advance.  So for example, you might select the 1st and 3rd Wednesday mornings of each month.  Knowing dates, times, and topics long-term makes it easier for clients, as well as for my schedule.  Topics can always be substituted if the need should arise.

Fridays I currently have lecture commitments all day; thus, why Fridays why are not even on the calendar.

Although Saturdays and Sundays are not posted, special arrangements might be negotiated.  Please contact us to discuss any special requests.

What equipment must our facility provide?

All presentations are given using PowerPoint computer software.  Thus, a facility must have some means of projecting this to an audience in a suitably sized room.

Most commonly, I will connect my computer to a wall-mounted large screen TV having an HDMI input jack.

Lastly, since presentations draw upon Internet resources (YouTube, Google, etc.), access to a facility’s WiFi Internet connection will also be necessary.

What are the charges for these presentation/discussion groups?

  •    General Presentation/Discussion Session       $125.00 for a 60 minute program *
  •                                                                   *  ( please note that additional travel charges may apply depending on distance)
  •    Men’s Group Discussion Session                   $125.00 for a 60 minute program *
